A blue screen error does not happen until windows has started. Right after the BIOS screen, you repeatedly press F8. If you do get the Safe Mode menu, you should have options for repair. The instructions to start from a Boot disk, and do a (nondestructive) repair do not require Safe Mode at all.

unexpected server crash?
The blue progress bar when W2k Pro loads goes about 2/3 of the way accross then I get a blue screen with this error. Does anyone know what it means?
